New Disney Adventure Is a Box Office Failure

Audiences have flocked to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Devotion, The Fabelmans, and Bones and All throughout the holiday season, as they have every year.

Usually a major candidate for the Thanksgiving crowds, Disney’s latest animated film, Strange World, is not exactly destroying the box office.

while it may have earned a huge number of excellent early reviews, Variety says that the film’s Tuesday previews only generated $800,000, giving it a difficult start to the holiday weekend.

And although these early data suggest that Disney will not consume the $30 million to $40 million that Strange World was anticipated to consume over the next five days, the game is not yet done.

There is still a chance that a big number of people, young and old(er), will join the Clade family in their exploration of uncharted worlds.
